In less than two hours, The Neighborhood Heroes distributed more than 500 meals with bottled water, more than 300 masks, 300 winter protection kits provided by National Fuel and more than 250 dental hygiene kits. With Covid-19 numbers rising and dental offices closing, we felt it was vital to distribute more masks with hygiene kits, while also ensuring the entire city ate a warm meal for the holiday!
For Christmas, The Heroes were faced with an extreme challenge. We wanted to deliver meals across WNY to underprivileged families, however didn't want to risk the health of families or Heroes. Ultimately, FitDreamz Activewear, Forever Hungry and The Heroes decided passing out more than 300 meals with dental hygiene kits, along with 250 toys, treats and gift cards would ensure residents we are still the force to rely on!
